OUR PROCESS We utilize a multi-dimensional, phased approach that focuses on priorities and the pace of change. Phase I consists of Assessment and Vision Development. During this phase we develop and distribute a survey assessment that addresses the critical issues in transition planning and serves as a benchmark during the evaluation phase. We conduct one-on-one and group interviews. We review pertinent legal and financial documents. We facilitate a workshop to share our findings, recommendations and develop a Family Vision Statement. Phase II consists of designing an Implementation Plan to achieve the family's vision and integrate the family vision with the Business Transition Plan. The Implementation or Action Plan serves to hold people accountable, monitor progress and serve as a tool to communicate the goals and progress to all stakeholders. Phase III consists of implementation and execution. There is a need for ongoing education and communication. We assist the family and company build a system that will help achieve the stated goals. The system is the long-term solution. We help family members gain knowledge about and investment in the family business, create future generations of knowledgeable and responsible shareholders and delineate a career path for family members that are interested in working in the family business. |
