Principal: For most of Jim's professional life he has been a transition executive for businesses as they went through various development phases. He began his career in public accounting after graduation from George Washington University with a degree in finance. During his four years with one of the then Big Eight, he had primary responsibility for The Marriott Corporation, The National Geographic Society, American Sugar, Planters Peanuts, as well as many other corporations. He has also served on many boards of directors and cofounded two bank holding companies. Most recently he was a senior executive of a winery in the San Joaquin valley. His expertise, in all areas of management and corporate finance, allows him to quickly identify problems and solutions in order to achieve a high level of success for his clients. Jim has had extensive experience in the wine industry and will bring that experience to LeadershipOne's continuing success working with family businesses, particularly wineries, in various stages of transition. Principal: Yolanda has developed and delivered entire leadership training programs for major employers such as Golden 1 Credit Union, Gap Inc Direct, Talaris Corporation and Dun & Bradstreet. She understands the environment, having been a first line supervisor as well as a senior level HR practitioner. Her experience includes both developing and then delivering training material that meets the knowledge and skills needs to produce high-level performance. Her specialty involves translating the knowledge requirements of mid-level managers into a compelling learning experience that enables practical leadership impact. She is a graduate of the University of California-Berkeley. Principal: Chris has over 10 years of experience in systems and people management under prominent employers in the financial services industry, namely State Street Bank and Investors Bank & Trust. With expertise in risk management and fiscal responsibility, Chris understands the necessity of a LEAN operating environment. Chris has led and advised on numerous systems implementations and has been responsible for establishing operating processes and procedures for enduring success. He has managed several large teams through successful operational transitions. Chris is the firm’s lead consultant in optimizing the Systems Perspective in the Balanced Performance Scorecard. With degrees in Finance and Management, Chris is a graduate of Georgetown University. Associate: Ed Street Ed has over forty years of professional and management experience in finance, strategic planning, general operating management and information systems design & implementation. He has a proven record of competence in achieving performance, productivity and cost improvements in team based environments while enhancing long term value creation. Ed has significant experience in facilitating and teaching finance, entrepreneurship and strategic planning in both academic and business environments. His professional experience encompasses being Director of Finance for the Sacramento Region of AirTouch Cellular, CFO for TDC Computer Systems and the California Dental Association and Division Controller for Western Wood Products, Koppers Company Inc. Ed has consulted in strategic and financial planning, executive mentoring and ownership transfer. He has also been an instructor at CSUS College of Business Administration. Mr.Street's educational background includes a BA in accounting and economics from Thiel College and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business. Associate: Brad Johnson Brad Johnson joined LeadershipOne to assist with developing mentoring and coaching training modules, write reports and other support functions for the partners. Brad's career began with stint in a law firm specializing in construction litigation. He then was a member of the in-house legal staff for a large financial institution. Brad has spent the last twenty years as writer and editor in a vast variety of settings that have included: technical writing, copy writing, marketing materials, training materials, user manuals, business process, editing, and white papers. Brad has a B.S. in Building Construction from the University of Washington ,and a J.D. from the Drake University Law School. |
